Got a few parties Friday night, i have Lew`s my oldest lads end of season footy party:) 23, 11yr olds in the pub between 16-18hr burgers and pepsi, i wish my Dad owned a pub when i was growing up!!!:)

N.F.L boys have a party and 2 others booked in, so it should be a cracking night.

Read it and weep u English golfers (incl my Dad and Bro in law) they came over to take away the Moose Tour Cup of golf away from Three Lions but, lost 11-9 and left empty handed and with sore heads:) Oh yeah and empty wallets!!!!

All in all a great wknd and cheers to everyone for playing in this inaugural golf event, after the golf we had a fantastic banquet at the pub and i believe we are the champions was played a few times!!

Casey Jones is playing this weekend and its music all the way to Christmas…..

We have an unbelievable footy fixture line up over the next 10 days something for everyone, check out the sport section under football.

Next week is the League cup, some juicy ties especially Wednesday, Man Utd v Liverpool!!!!!!

Not Just a footy pub!!!!:):)…….

Last night was an unusual night in the pub, when FRP decided to set up camp in the Quotes:) I will not go on because as u and i know that politics is not my game:) I know nothing about politics especially Norwegian politics:)

The quiz starts this  Thursday 12th 19.30, already looks as though it will be a great turn out and we have a real twist this year, we are offering every team 4 flights to England with Norwegian, get down on Thursday night and find out more:)

Last but not least COME ON THE LIONS 2NIGHT!!!!!

A draw will do but, we could do with a win (Even with no strikers) Milner up front i just saw, HMMMMMMMM!!!!!!:(

We still believe, IT`S COMING HOME……

Bloody mental is only way to describe the last few weeks in the pub:) You know what? I thought i`d seen it all in the Lions and then another amazing month just pops up and surprises us all:)

Hats off to the students of 2013!!!;) Never seen a year so well behaved during freshers week.

Only 1 sick to clear up, only 2 ladies underwear in the mens toilet (Maybe we got some Dave Beckhams who like that sort of thing:) and 1 girl who persisted all night in telling me she was English, even with a Fawlty Towers accent:(

Moving onwards and upwards, this weekend we have an amazing SUPER SUNDAY OF FOOTY!

Liverpool v Man Utd 14.30 and Arsenal v Spurs at 17hr + loads more Norwegian games etc

All the weekends footy fixtures under live sport, on this site.

We also have live music, Barry Richard is playing Thur 29-Sat 31st 22.30kl.

He is amazing, get yourself down and hear him play, a born entertainer!!:)

Well its finally arrived the prem league is starting on Saturday and i reckon we are all ready for it now after a well deserved break:)

Ivè had mates and customers ringing and mailing to book seats for all day at the pub Saturday, sounding like children at Christmas, thats how much we have all missed it:)

Carl our musician for the weekend (Friday/Sat 22.30kl) makes his debut, hes bringing his keyboard and is just magic:) Pretty unique to have him as he dosent play many pubs more clubs with over 1000 people so we are very lucky to have him!! Pop down and see hear him play, a fantastic night guaranteed:)

We are also welcoming back great fans that are Klanen this wknd, been coming to the Lions for years and generally are a good natured bunch that always have that buzz about them.

Welcome to all the students who have already visited the Lions and those to who have booked in there various parties in the next couple of weeks. 12 in a toilet we had on Monday night, all tied together and swapping clothes:) Wasnt like that when i was a student, a trip to the library was about as exciting as it got….

Just wanted to say thanks to you and your staff who were all terrific in keeping the good times:) flowing, putting up admirably with us fun loving Scots and making sure there was a great atmosphere for Saints fans time in Trondheim. I hope you made a healthy profit out of the last few days!

Not blogged for a while been keeping a very low key and spending time with my wonderful family:)

Normal rules apply for our unfortunate summer in Trondheim:( We would only complain its too hot anyway!!

Can u believe it`s only 3 weeks until the Prem League starts:) Not been much in and outs yet but, everyone knows it will come! Its gunna be a massive footy season culminating in hopefully a World Cup spot for Norway and England:) (Still living the dream!)

The pub has been ticking along very nicely, expecting a couple of quiet months but, didnt happen:) June was amazing for the under 21 Euro comp and last week we had the amazing Saints from Perth come over for the Rosenborg game.  Better known as St Johnstone F.C. supporters, these fans were unbelievable impeccably behaved from start to finish, for some of the fans them it was a 5 day bash:)

As you all know, we have had many many away fans in the Lions over the last 7 and a half years and b4 that in my old pub Kings Cross. These fans have to be in the top 3 of well behaved, like-able, friendly supporters we have ever served! You could just tell when they turned up at the pub, they were a family club with only one thing on their minds, having a great time and supporting the team:) Oh yeah, the result helped and it was funny when they came back in the pub after the game, they looked physically shocked! i dont think they could believe what they had just seen:)

The students start coming back to town in the next few weeks, so loads of freshers parties on the books and that great buzz around town with new students etc

The new summer menu seems to be a big hit, especially the “bad weather burger” only 99kr with a pepsi, if its under 12 degrees!! Thats been everyday, hasn`t it? Pop in the pub or check out the menu on this site:)
